Motorcyclist Killed in Traffic Accident

Memphis, Tenn. – A motorcyclist died in a crash on Interstate I-40 West near Chelsea Avenue on Tuesday night, August 15, 2023, according to the Memphis Police Department.

The crash occurred around 4:57 PM PDT, and all lanes of I-40 West were blocked as a result. The identity of the motorcyclist has not been released pending notification of family members. The cause of the crash is under investigation.
